I found it very exciting to listen to a piece I am so familiar with but with some amazing 'twists' in melody ad rhythm. Richter is classically trained, having graduated in composition from the Royal Academy of Music and studied. He has made some astonishing and brave changes- but they work. Max Richter (born 22 March 1966) is a German-born British composer who has been an influential voice in post-minimalist composition and in the meeting of contemporary classical and alternative popular musical styles since the early 2000s.

Don't expect the same as the original at all - it's definitely re-composed. Just as great the second time I listened.
